Westendorf is well known for its range of apres
ski bars. Whatever you're looking for you'll find it here. A
traditional night can be found at the middle station - "Guesthouse
Maierhof" where
they also have "Happy Hour" or a quieter time in the Hotel
Post (popular with ski instructors) and tourists alike. The
village Pub is also a
good place for meeting other skiers and here you can get a good glass
of "Guinness".
For a really lively time why
not try Gerry's Inn on the nursery slope or the
Moskito Bar where after
a wild apres ski you can stay until the early hours
(not forgetting though that you have to get up and ski the next day).
Too
much alcohol and your legs just won't work the next day (a
word from experience !!!).
The Bruchstall "Lisa's" at the top
of the nursery slope had it's first year 2004/05 and what a success
- great music, great service - doesn't get much better than this.
Another great place for apres ski is "Cafe
Friends" a warm welcome awaits you from your host Jose.
Not forgetting the "Wunder
Bar". Great atmosphere with
a cross variety of music and live singing from "Stefan" who
is sure to get you into the swing of your apres ski. The weekly bar-b-q
is
well worth the vist. Good value for money !!!
Newly opened 2006/07 is the "Karet Bar" with
it's exclusively designed interior and various lounges for extra comfort
and privacy
!!! Also a great place until the early hours into the morning.
