Organising your holiday could never be easier and a lot of the time cheaper !!! Here are a few travel tips which we hope you find useful in organising your summer or winter holiday.

Airports

Westendorf is within easy reach of three major airports, Munich 150kms, Salzburg 80kms and Innsbruck 80kms.

Airlines

In winter many airlines operate to the region from all over the UK. 
Flights often used are Easy Jet - Innsbruck and Salzburg from Bristol, Liverpool, Gatwick, Luton, and Munich from Edinburgh, Gatwick, Stansted, and Manchester,
Ryan Air - Salzburg - Stansted
Lufthansa - Munich - Manchester, Birmingham, London (Heathrow, Gatwick, City)

In addition there are flights by Ryan Air to Memmingen airport- situated West of Munich from Manchester, Dublin, Stansted, Edinburgh. Flights can be very cheap but it is 235km from Westendorf and the journey time is approximately 2 1/2 hours. Transfers prove very expensive so car hire or bus/train are the most cost effective method of getting to Westendorf.

Monarch have launched a number of flights to Innsbruck - Gatwick and Manchester, and Munich - Manchester, Birmingham, Luton and Leeds Bradford.

jet2.com also fly into Salzburg - Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester.
