Winter in the Kitzbuehler Alpen

Skiing
Skier or non skier Winter World in Westendorf has something for everyone. For the beginner and intermediate there are three ski schools to choose from, all offering a high standard of instruction, at the same time making your holiday fun and exciting and one to remember! For the more advanced skiers Westendorf has some challenging off piste skiing.

Snowboarding
For snow boarders Westendorf has a snow boarders fun park complete with half pipe, which is sure to thrill the avid fiends for hours on

Paragliding
Why not have a go at paragliding and really get a birds eye view of the Alps. Westendorf has it's own paragliding school which operates both in summer and winter. Try a tandem jump!! (If you do let me know what it's like).

Tobogganing
Stroll up the mountain and soak up the picturesque surrounds, take a toboggan with you and toboggan down, or simply relax and watch the beginners and tiny tots on the nursery slopes. The tiny tots learn so quickly and look like little elves on skies.

Winter benefits

  • Wide nursery slopes
  • Ideal for beginner skiers & kids
  • Challenging off piste
